Presonus Studio One Sphere is now Studio One+

Since beginning 2023, I moved from Logic Pro to Studio One (see my article of January 2023 here). After mostly 6 months of usage, I’m still convinced that I made the right choice. At the time I decided to move to Studio One, a Christmas offer was still available and allowed me to register for the most complete package (Studio One Sphere) for only $114 per year fee.

On July 18, 2023, Presonus made an announcement that they change the name of the “package” Studio One Sphere to Studio One+. According to the official announcement video made by Presonus, they decided to rename Studio One Sphere package to Studio One+ is essentially to unify their software echo system by putting Studio One at the clear center on it. Another reason is to simplify their software offer. I have to admit that when I discovered Studio One, I was a little bit lost with the offers Presonus proposed. Finally, thanks to the good Christmas price offering they made, I take the all in One package with Studio One Professional as DAW version.

If you are not familiar with Presonus offering, I suggest that you see this page to look at the four package they offer from now on starting with Studio One+. As I already wrote a while ago here, mostly all the DAWs on the market are good piece of software. The quality of a DAW will never make the quality of the music a composer will produce with. In my life, I heard recording mades in prestigious studio recording who’s frankly speaking sounded crapy to my hears. Here is a bunch of impressions I got after some months of usage of this wonderful piece of music production software. Have a good reading and thank you for your interest.
